We’re so excited to introduce a fresh new addition to our Made:Small offer – a unique twist on our 3D house portraits. This time, we’ve combined our detailed, bespoke architectural models with everyday function to create something that’s both beautiful and genuinely useful: the Porta, a 3D printed key holder,

modelled on a place that matters to you.

We all need somewhere to keep our keys – so why not make it something meaningful?

A Bespoke Model, with a Purpose

This new design isn’t just about aesthetics (although it naturally delivers on that front, of course). It’s a fully custom key holder, based on a building of your choice – whether that’s your home, your favourite pub, a honeymoon cottage, or even the café where you had your first date.

Each model is created from front-facing photos you send us – although if you happen to have architectural drawings, we’ll gladly use them too! Our in-house architect selects the most suitable scale based on the size of the property, usually between 1:50 and 1:200, ensuring the finished piece fits within a compact, wall-friendly size: a maximum of 175mm x 225mm x 25mm.

Unlike our full 3D house portraits, these key holders focus on a single façade, making the design and ordering process simpler and more accessible. Best of all? The price is fixed, no matter the size of the building.

Personalise Your Piece

You can customise your key holder with up to four keyrings, depending on the available space in the model. To make them coordinate or contrast with your decor (your choice!), we’ve introduced Sakura Pink, Sunshine Yellow, Moss Green and Warm Clay as colourways. You can go for a matching set or mix and match your favourites – whatever suits your style.

Tried, Tested and Loved

We trialled these key holders at recent maker markets, and the response was fantastic. People loved the blend of personalisation, craftsmanship and practical use – and they make an especially brilliant gift for new homeowners, design lovers or anyone who appreciates a meaningful, handcrafted object.

We hope you love them as much as we do. As always, every model is 3D printed, finished in matt white, and delivered in a beautifully presented kraft gift box. You’ll also receive a customisable printed blueprint and a QR code linking to a behind-the-scenes video of your model being printed.
