A step-by-step guide of the Made:Small process
01. Place your order
We can create a model of any home, and our in-house architect will select the scale that highlights its features most effectively.

Skip this step if you're going for a Porta Key Holder!
We'll ask for your property's address so we can begin researching your home. If you have original architectural drawings, simply email them to us before ordering to receive a 25% discount.
02. We research your home
Using online mapping data, photography and any drawings you've provided, we begin building an accurate digital model of your property.
In many cases, this gives us everything we need. If we need any additional information - such as photographs of areas that aren't visible online - we'll get in touch after you've placed your order.
We'll guide you through exactly what we need, making the process as straightforward as possible.
03. Architect review
Every model is reviewed by our in-house architect.
We select the scale that will best showcase your home, balancing overall proportions with the level of architectural detail that can be reproduced. Smaller homes are often modelled at a larger scale to reveal finer detail, while larger homes are scaled accordingly to capture the complete building.
04. Your digital proof
Before printing begins, we'l email you a digital preview of your model for approval.
The proof will show the proposed model, its approximate finished dimensions and the level of detail you can expect. It's also your opportunity to confirm we've interpreting your home correctly before production begins.
If anything doesn't look quite right, we'll make any necessary factual amendments before moving to print.
05. Precision 3D printing
Once you've approved your proof, your model is printed using high-quality plant-based PLA with a matte white finish.
After printing, every model is carefully hand-finished before undergoing a final quality check.
06. Beautifully packaged and delivered
Your model is presented in a Kraft gift box, complete with personalised architectural blueprint.
You'll also recede a QR code linking to a time-lapse video showing your model being created layer by layer.
Your miniature home is then carefully packages and dispatched, ready to enjoy or gift to someone special.
